Advantage Partners, LLP announced on August 6, 2014 that the Fund IV series of funds served by Advantage Partners, LLP reached an agreement to sell United Entertainment Holdings Co., Ltd., the parent company of United Cinemas Co., Ltd. (“UC”), a cinema complex chain, to a special purposes vehicle (Lawson HMV Entertainment United Cinemas Inc.) managed by Lawson HMV Entertainment, Inc. (“Lawson HMV”) , a 100% subsidiary of major convenience store chain, Lawson Inc. (“Lawson”, 2651 TSE ).
