Mr. Porter joined Advantage Partners in October 2007.
Previously, he was an investment banker in the M&A group of UBS Securities Japan Co.,Ltd., where he focused on cross-border mergers and acquisitions in the firm’s Tokyo and New York offices. Prior to UBS, he was a member of the investment banking division of RBC Capital Markets where he focused on M&A and public/private equity financings for companies in high-growth sectors. Mr. Porter holds a BS from Brigham Young University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also studied Economics at Sophia University in Tokyo on a Japanese Government (Monbusho) Scholarship.
