Joined Marubeni in 1990. Engaged in marketing & sales and new business development in semiconductors and electronic materials divisions in Japan, the United States, and Germany for 17 years. Worked as director, executive officer and director of the venture investments division at iSigma Capital from 2007 to 2011. Seconded to Mizuho Capital Partners in 2012 to 2013 and engaged in subordinated loan and preferred stock investments. Received numerous awards including the Mizuho Securities President’s Award and Mizuho Bank President’s Award. Engaged in fund investments as deputy manager of finance and real estate investments business at Marubeni, served on investment committees at iSigma’s business support fund (buyout) and Mizuho’s mezzanine fund, and served on AP Asia Fund’s investment recommendation committee between 2014 and March 2017. Relocated to Hong Kong as an investment promotion committee member of the Asia Fund in April 2018. Engaged in investments such as EKO Group and appointed external director at EKO Group. Has 10 years of experience in financial investments. Seconded to Advantage Partners (H.K.) Limited in April 2017. B.S. in Engineering from Kyoto University.
